Training Kids for the Next Generation Digital World (Metaverse, 4th Industrial Revolution, etc)
Overview
Over the past 80 years, throughout the 2nd and 3rd stages of the industrial revolution, our education systems have evolved to meet the needs of the community. As we enter into the 4th industrial revolution that is bringing together both our physical and virtual worlds, the market needs an education system that brings together all stakeholders (students, parents, teachers and the private and public community sector) in an improved learning ecosystem that delivers prepared students and families to the marketplace. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to proactively develop an education system that drives an upcoming phase of our industrial progression, rather than just react to it.
The 4th stage of the industrial revolution is the age of connectivity between the real world and the digital world – using technology to connect all relevant parties to a particular system, ie in the case of education – bringing all stakeholders (kids, parents, teachers, schools, lawmakers, government and private sector) together in a digital world (a Metaverse) that is integrated with the real world of learning in the classroom and beyond. The forces of industry have just opened up the education ecosystem to all stakeholders (accelerated by the pandemic), and those that understand and capitalize on this opportunity will be able to influence education today and in the future.
We can bring parents and the business community back as players in education. All it will take is an extra 30-60 mins per day that the student spends in that kid-driven, game-based world that is engaging, motivational and extremely productive. This little bit of meta-learning will arm the student with the knowledge and skills to accelerate what they are learning throughout the rest of the day, i.e. their learning will become more relevant and with relevance comes accelerated learning. They will become educated and experienced leaders in the new global economy.
Our family-driven, game-based skills learning platform has been designed over many years, with millions of dollars and millions of families so far, to do just that – reimagine the critical learning of K-6 kids and their families by creating a new 30-60 mins of the learning day – in the new intersection of the classroom and digital world.
We started building the “Education Metaverse” over 10 years ago in anticipation of this day when the 4th stage of the industrial revolution would become a reality. The “Metaverse” will be either the best or worst thing to happen to our kids – the best if we train them how to use it to lead, and the worst if we leave them to be “taught” by the “Facebooks” of the world. If we don’t take control of this right now, the future intersection of our real and digital worlds will make our challenges and frustrations with social media today seem like nothing.
The opportunity is ripe for someone to deliver this intersection of traditional and digital learning that is easy, free and with minimal time requirement that:
- Teaches the upcoming generation the critical skills they need to lead the 4th industrial revolution and become creators of prosperity (the Heroes League app)
- Helps the parents gain and retain influence in their child’s education without having to spend more time – creates a national force of parents that are strategically coordinated to become more relevant in education (the Parent Support Team app)
- Addresses the education megatrends and helps shape a better education system in the real and digital world that teaches our children and their families to adapt to, thrive in and even shape the future (Heroes League platform)
